I echo the words of encouragement and wisdom given by the The Right Reverend Cornell Jerome Moss, VII Bishop of Guyana. Bishop Moss provided heartfelt encouragement and wisdom to Fr. Jonathan Archer, Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, on Friday, October 24, 2014, during his induction.
I noted some to share on leadership. Perhaps all leaders can take something from the following points made during his speech.
1. Keep praying and press on.
2. Keep one mission, one ministry with various talents.
3. Stay focused on doing The Father's business.
4. Reaffirm your commitment to The Father's business.
5. The most effective and powerful sermon is the way in which you live your life.
6. Be cautious of embracing the gospel of prosperity.
7. Jesus never promised wealth beyond what we could manage.
8. Do not get carried away with your successes
9. You will have to love even the most difficult people; who make it difficult to love them.
10. Take time and space to be in the presence of God.
